Yeah! Haneda is Perfect :P
That makes both Airports at Tokyo controlled
RJAA (SHM, elgaton), and RJTT (oscar662, and others)

About using different ATCs on the same place, that's something that can work, but we'll need to figure out what you guys are planning. Keep in mind elgaton is already Tokyo-Center. Maybe you guys want to work with relieving, to cover longer times? I don't know what you guys have in mind, yet

Regarding IAHM-COL's suggestion of me covering Chubu, that sounds good to me. I currently plan to control Tokyo Center from about 20 to 00/01 Italian time (so 19 - 23/00 UTC if DST is not in effect) on both days; as for reliefs, I'm available, but I'd like to provide them only for airports in my area, in order not to reduce coverage (that means, controlling Center and the affected airport(s) at the same time, if possible).

I've got some doubts regarding placing an ATC at Hokkaido - I think it's too far from the other airports, and routes from/to it (taking the current ATC "reservations" into account) won't be completely controlled. A similar situation happened during the last edition of the Festival (see e.g. Lydiot's previous posts on Curtis' forum - 1 and 2). Maybe new, prospective ATCs could fill in delivery/ground/tower positions at already manned airports? In any case, the choice will fall exclusively on controllers.

Finally, a note to the scenery modelers: a new version of WED was released - please update the tool. It contains a couple of validation fixes (especially for signs and taxiway segments) and will become the minimum required version for Gateway uploads in a few days.

@ALL
I updated the ATC positions with the latest information by elgaton and KIWI

@elgaton.
I see your point about a Hokaido tower (in Chitose) to be rather isolated. I will think on another suggestion for T-URBO.

@T-URBO
a few options. I wonder how you feel about towering another airport on the Osaka bay? (that'll place your tower and mine within 30 nm, such as Haneda and Narita). The airport has Project3000 bldgs. It is Kobe (RJBE).
Think about it. RJBE and RJBB maybe too close to be confortable to ATC both places. I think we can use D-LASER Project 3000 project to rapidly populate Miyazaki (viewtopic.php?f=26&t=253#p3784) at the south -- and thus being in a better spread.
Alternatively, if you decide to ATC in Chitose (Hokaido), you will be about 700 nm from the Tokyo center (a bit more isolated)
But we would be covering the whole country

Think your choices

Oscar and I are having a 'roleplay' in our private messages.
So far, he has passed with flying colours. Just one comment:
Usually, the QNH is given with the taxi or pushback, to the best of my knowledge.

Oscar passed the test with full marks! With a little reviewing of the terminology used, he is ready to go for the event :)
