If I float in from Lake of Constance with a Zepp, I'll just use LFR..

And keep those Dragons away from my Hydrogen filled babies.

Well in the topic of planes able to engage the hold, I had been informed that an important fix has come to the A320neo nasal files that seem to fix this issue for this aircraft.
Certainly something to take a test flight for :D

You see, in real life, I am already count as an elder gentlemen. This elder gentlemen has in the last what, two years, learned

- FDMs
- other plane systems
- the basics of aerodynamics
- flying ... hey, I had no idea how to do it when it all started for me
- the kinks of FG
- how to piss off core-clowns (well, that was more a talent than a learned skill)
- basics of 3D animations (another thing, I had no idea about)
- and now, how to operate a forum

So, in doubt, if a plane comes in my way, turn 90 degree left, ask ATC and if that doesn't work, change some plane parts in midair and pray. And when it comes to landings, every place I can actually see is considered fine

A BIG THANKS

To anyone that collaborated yesterday to put the Geneve Airport service to the test. It was great to see all great friends, and to look at the new Geneve Scenery perform when traffic gets a bit more hectic

Some mention to the following

* Firefly -- for being my civil engineer pal in constructing Geneve Aeroport
* Alessandro Menti elgaton -- for coordinating the ATC sessions of the Festival with me
* Legoboy and daweed -- for joining the group of ATCs for the festival. As well as the unnamed LOWI_TW
* Legoboy, Simbambim and JWocky for pre-testing the new Scenery before the practice session and guarantee that regardless of computer Specs the scenery (with and without OSM) is as lightweight as the scenery-less package.
* Simbambin and vector: For providing Route Manager and Open Radar files to the Scenery. I couldn't have done that without you guys
* JWocky, m492, ACI, YV574E, YV-LEGO, EZS3555, Sanni, Lebof, F-GJOS, T-URBO, Walli, and other pilots for putting the proccedures, both VFR and IFR to the test.

I look forward to see many of you in the festival, and make the awesome event FG enjoys. I remember dearly both the First Festival in Iberia, and specially dearly the awesome spring Festival Argentina-Brazil that precede this, the Third FG Festival, Austria-Switzerland: Fall 2015.

I've also a surprise for The Festival. :)
Image
It's the Air Zermatt heliport in Zermatt, Swiss. I've converted it from X-plane: http://www.rotorsim.de/en/szenerien/air-zermatt.html (I've contacted the author of the scenery or it's possible to use the GPL V2 but no reply yet, but otherwise I'll use the current one). Also the Raron Heliport and the Helipad next to the Hornlihutte at the Matterhorn will be included. And as you can see I'm also making the Air Zermatt livery for the EC130.

(More info soon in the Scenery and Liveries threads about these projects.)
