@LAX
Yes. Belfast is currently open (No ATC is serving it).

I've got in touch with FGUK, here's what Warty told me:

. . . . I assume you will also be using the callsigns listed in your forum profiles?

Pretty much so, though one exception I can think of is that StuartC normally uses WF01 as a callsign. FGUK also tend not to be exclusive - i.e.: anyone can join in and doesn't need to be an FGUK forum member - so I suppose other callsigns are possible. Anyway, we should be easy to spot as we'll all probably be within a mile or so of each other. Although the route takes us across (but underneath) the EGLL flightpaths for traffic both in and out of EGLL, we should be so low that we'll be well below any ATC-controlled traffic.

Note also that although EGLC is on the flight plan, it is really only there to make the FG Flight plan work. Without a destination airport, it's a bit quirky. We'll probably just finish the flight at Regents Park. Though the top of Canary Wharf is another possibility 8)

...so there should be no problem at all. (As a reminder, we'll also have Operation Red Flag in northeastern Scotland, but they should be far from the Festival-controlled areas).

That's great elgaton

1. You are the main controller of the London area, and the place is under your supervision :P
Thus I am comfortable it is going to go great

2. The OPRF area is just north of EGPH. I can't be happier to have some company and to have the OPRF operations close, and even pay me a visit everyonce in a while :D

Looking forward to an oustanding event this weekend.
Are you able to log your time schedule in the Lenny site? It does help pilots to plan ahead....

In planning our Op, I'm trying to push people to Leuchars instead of using the FOB to give you more traffic.
We will also have a Blackbird occasionally out of Mildenhall. =]

Got any good links or resources? We've worked on ATC phraseology in the past, but more resources are always good! A VRIAB at 500 kts is by far my favorite approach to perform ever, so military ATC is more than welcome.
