Hi Oscar. EGLL is not unavailable. We are trying just to coordinate a good situation for everyone involved, and definitely clarifying some conceptuals about airspace, which is needed to be fully understood by any volunteer interested in the ATCing
I like your idea of moving to Manchester, but only if you are not doing it, with a felt that you couldn't do what you actually wanted. If you are looking forward for London, we could move around in order to accomodate you in London, but keep in mind the higher positions in London (CTR) is a very difficult position with a high level of responsibility -- you are literally coordinating multiple ATCs at the same time.
No EGLL Approach. I just don't find the position you name "EGLL approach" anywhere in charts, or information of the area. So technically, what you initially intend to be does not exist.
Now, if you are O.K. with it, and you want to go to Manchester, and given you are interested in being "Center" control, I suggest you consider the position for "Scottish - Control", residing in EGCC (Manchester) and offering full service for Manchester Airport, plus the "Center" position controlling the areas of Wallasey, Stafa and East Scottish. And thus you will be using frequency 134.425.
That position would be great indeed as you will be opening another posible destination in the wonderful airport of Manchester.
Since you probably need to clarify, this is the reads I first recommend
