Hi All

Now the the Fall Festival 2015 waves good bye, ideas about our next Festival location start to be intriguing,

For those uninformed, the Festival is a biannual event. It takes places on Spring and Fall. The fall Festival coincides with FSWeekend, and the Spring festival is distanced by about 6 months away.

The Spring Festival is held anywhere in the World (hopefully, except Europe), whereas the Fall festival is held in Europe.

A poll to determine the location of the next festivals will take place in this --the Free Flight, Free Speech-- FlightGear's TheJabberwocky.net forum. but before we can open a poll, I invite the whole community to bring ideas for the possible two locations to be featured next year.

Keep the ideas coming :D Post below!

(@elgaton: I hope you would'nt mind mirroring this post on Curtis' Flightgear Forum)

I don't know yet what would be my preference. But I'd love to add to the possible candidate to the poll
Japan and South Korea.

EGOD & EGNS?
Using, of course, Marc's & FGUK's custom scenery.

Japan is quite good, with a high density of large airports and great landscape (mnt. Fuji). Those who like longer distances just skip a few airports. Japan is quite long.

As an alternative there is indonesia. Fly Java and see great landscapes, and some big airports. Not as dense as Japan though.

Kind regards, Vincent

What were the past Spring ones?

Perhaps Central America would be nice.

MIG, sorry, but it is a region, not specific airports.
Ideally, not so well developed, so that we need to work on it!

I of course suggest Carribean!
Though, Japan is a close second.

There has been 3 Festivals

Fall2014: Iberian Peninsula
Spring2015: Argentina - Brazil
Fall2015: Austria - Switzerland

Before the Festival Began, we held 48h Amsterdam (EHAM). And there was a FG special Oskhosk Airshow.

@ All. Remember the poll will run to choose 2 different locations. For the Fall festival, an European location would be ideal, so don't forget to include suggestions for Europe's Fall Festival as Well as Spring's.

I think we can make two polls and solve the whole 2016 locations soon.

@MIG29; For EGOD-EGNS, it is fair to consider opening your suggestion to all UK? That's actually a really appealing suggestion that would get real consideration in a poll as a voting candidate for Europe, in my mind.
