No problem:
Israel wrote:you said that the Airbus sets the flaps automatically for take off.
I then wrote:No, it doesnt.
The Aircraft Config (made by me, skips manual startup) does. The Airbus doesnt.
Israel wrote:Relief.
So, that was a misunderstanding.
Kind Regards,
Josh

Since I like the A330 most, I'll be flying one of those if I have the time to come. Dunno which version yet.

As said earlier, this is an IDG event, and everyone must use either the IDG-A32X (
https://github.com/it0uchpods/IDG-A32X) or IDG-A33X (
https://github.com/it0uchpods/IDG-A33X). If you need help in using it, feel free to ask us. During the event itself we will be able to help aswell.
C.
PS: BA doesn't even operate the A350-900. And their A350-1000's on order are not due to arrive earlier than 2020.

Thx,

IAHM-COL wrote:Me. too jealous of a pilot. If a computer moves my flaps, I'll take a fucking screwdriver from my pocket. HAL will begin singing Daisy, I promise you.
Actually it will move the flaps,
- Automatic Flap Retraction
Works when you're in Config 1+F and when IAS>210, the flaps are retracted to 0, but slats remain in position.
- Automatic Flap Extension
Works when you're in Config 1 and when IAS drops below 100, the flaps extend to 1+F

Not really, the flap lever is in the 1 position both ways.
So, it only changes how the flap/slat combination works in the 1 position.
But you are correct, it will move the flap surface.

Josh
