Think about it, a C-5 with little load (if you have no load she has her problems with over-climbing at full flaps, but lets say 10 to 15 tons, just to make her not too light and 50% fuel for the good measure) she has a landing speed of 105-110 knots, that's less than an ATR. So all depends on getting the lining up right and come in just 50-100 feet higher than the threshold, get those reversers going in the right split second (they switch on the C-5 only if throttle is zero) and stand on the brakes like there is no tomorrow
