Beagle Pup FDM
Re: Beagle Pup FDM
All I've managed to find so far is that the wing has a 2.5 deg washout

Update........................
I've finished the plane specific data files
Plane metrics
engine
prop
I'm 50% through the new rewrite of the flight 'principles' models... by that I mean I've done the
angle of attack
co-efficients
forces
moments
It's more than 50% of the work done (i think)
And I've no idea how the things going to fly, that's the suprise...

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Re: Beagle Pup FDM
First successfull flight of the Pup tonight.... work still to do on the flight model however...
differential rotations caused by induced drag variations at the wingtips and variations of dynamic pressure due to yaw.... but the last few days have seen it all come togther....
it's suprising how the wrong sign + - here or there can make such a difference to either damping or feedback runaway..
Fingers crossed for spin to be nailed soon...
