Full name : Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre, ICAO: SEQU was the main international airport serving Quito, Pichincha Province, Ecuador. It was the busiest airport in Ecuador by passenger traffic, by aircraft movement and by cargo movement, and one of the busiest airports in South America. It was named after Venezuelan-born Antonio José de Sucre, a hero of Ecuadorian and Latin American independence. It began operations in 1960, and during its last years of operation, handled about 6.2 million passengers and 164,000 metric tons of freight per year. The airport, one of the highest in the world (at 2,800 metres or 9,200 feet AMSL) was located in the northern part of the city, in the Chaupicruz parish, within 5 minutes of Quito's financial center; the terminals were located at the intersection of Amazonas and La Prensa avenues. Mariscal Sucre International was the largest hub for TAME with an average of 50 daily departures.
Airport ceased all operations at 19:00 on February 19, 2013, following the departure of TAME flight 321 to Guayaquil (scheduled for 18:55). Iberia operated the final international departure from the airport. On the morning of February 20, 2013, all operations moved to the new Mariscal Sucre International Airport. The first domestic flights scheduled to arrive at the new airport were TAME Flight 302 originating in Guayaquil, and LAN Flight 2590 originating in Lima, Peru. The new airport is located in the Tababela parish, about 18 kilometres (11 mi) to the east of the city.
It was constructed by a private consortium.
The former airport is now the site of Parque Bicentenario, the biggest urban park in Quito.

No skyvector route, because skyvector don't know SEQU.

We will use RNAV STAR KOLTA,
then circling approach VOR/DME rwy 35 Descent 3 :

This approach charts are more than 10 years old, magnetic deviation changed, QIT radial for final approach is not 349, but 352

Will definetly try to be there. These "circle to land" approaches have always baffled me. Like how to calculate the bank angle when you make the turn to final at certain speed etc.
I know there are complicated formulas out there, so is there any rule of thumb to this ?. Like a cheat sheet ?.

Training, training and training is best cheat It is very simple with FG. This approach is relative simple in comparision with Descent ECHO VOR DME 2 circling approach to runway 14 Cochabamba from NE direction, in that case You must fly 20 nm arc, then make tight turn, fly straight 10 miles, again tight turn and make final 8 miles arc. SLCB will be next WCA event...

Unable. I only use the instruments that work in the cockpit. So i dont use for instance "route manager". That's unreal for me. I fly kinda old school. Vor's and ndb's ect.
If i would have a full working MCDU where i could plot waypoints and all that, maybie. But i dont have it. So i don't use it. But hey, i still plan to be there. Just dont expect me to follow the excact route.

How do You fly RNAV approaches ?
You can fly VOR to VOR, no problem. For example : GIR 117.3, NVA 115.8, PPN 114.5, PSO 113.4, IPI 113.6, QIT 115.3
What aircraft You will fly ?
Maximum realistic flight is not possible in FG environment, beause FG still have not aircraft with full MCDU. This is one from more reason, why I'm flying FSX and PMDG 737, MCDU is fully simulated with all advanced functions like plot fixes with DME ranges and radials, terrain on ND etc. It is absolutly other level than FG. For example - check viewtopic.php?p=24788#p24788

Today, I made SKBO-SEQU with old style navigation from VOR to VOR on route GIR 117.3, NVA 115.8, PPN 114.5, PSO 113.4, IPI 113.6, QIT 115.3. As I expected, George from Concorde dit it without any trouble. Final arc did much better than me

Yeah, that final arc is quite tricky. I tried it on the airbus 320. 180 knots, 25 degree turn and that was a way too steep turn. My next test flight, i will probably try something like 15 degrees. But i managed to land and not crash into a mountain. That's a plus.

Fly this turn in Bus equipped with FBW is much simplier than standard hydraulic steering. And with limited downward visibility from Concorde's cockpit in high AoA approach is another challenge.

I can agree on that. But at least you dont have to worry about when too deploy flaps
