Hi guys,

some news on the chopper. Still very activ, working on nasal/power virtual bus, and xml properties tree..
Sounds are done too, with some stereo effect.

Playing with lightmap 2 : Rembrandt rendering is weird ; here a lightmap w/o rembrandt (yellow light on the console):

and the same with rembrandt enabled:
Image

Not very good at all, the first is well colorized, on the later, Rembrandt renders colors only on the hi white value of the lightmap (i tried a full white or black pict.), else it doesn't deal with color at all (on the range from 0 to 60% grey => no color)

Parameters used for the effect:

Code: Select all

<PropertyList>
   <name>console-lights</name>
   <inherits-from>/Effects/model-combined-deferred</inherits-from>
   <parameters>
      <lightmap-enabled type="int">1</lightmap-enabled>
      <texture n="3">
         <image>../Models/5.Cockpit Panel Main Board-lights.png</image>
      </texture>
      <lightmap-factor type="float" n="0">
         <use>/bell412/power/output/consoles/conslt</use>
      </lightmap-factor>
      <lightmap-color type="vec3d" n="0"> 1.0 1.0 0.0 </lightmap-color>
      <!-- alpha channel -->
      <!--
      <lightmap-factor type="float" n="3">1.0</lightmap-factor> alpha channel
      -->
   </parameters>
</PropertyList>

I tried to play with multimap, but don't know how it works (no result at all). FG doc don't explain a lot about lightmap, the texture slot (why the nr 3 ?), the lightmap-color slot (does it apply from the picture channel or on the shader channel ?), how to really use them ... So, if someone knows how to fix this ... thanks.

The r27 is ready for download:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bell-412/

A small blog about its dev. and about this release:
https://sourceforge.net/p/bell-412/blog/

You can post comments on the blog, or open a ticket, or put some nice screenshots here (I will greatly appreciate !)
A lot of things to do, but I must come back to the real life now. Project is still hot, hope to end it this year.
For those that are impatient, simply checkout the svn from time to time.

As usual, read the README_ABOUT_HOWTO ... file 1st.

Have a nice trip !

@IHAM: thanks, not really what I was looking for, but ok. in fact, once you get how it works, it's very easy. All is up to Blender. FG is sometimes hard, eg. run/try/catch ... process to long, sometimes reloading your model has no result at all, so, you must re-launch it. No way to explore your meshe objects too (eg. "where's my needle ? WTF ? Hey, come on, it must be here ..."). But it's ok now.
Hey, still waiting for your feedbacks ... and your normal maps too ! :) It's ok, no pb. Next release I hope ..
