Xplane and MacOS; chatting in the hangar.
Re: Xplane and MacOS; chatting in the hangar.
And yes, I can compare Flight decks on aircraft that share the same systems.
Re: Xplane and MacOS; chatting in the hangar.
LOL!
I never said you did. Yelling is bad please don't.
I'm simply looking at the simulation experience as a whole.
I have XPlane. In case you ignored my 100 times saying that. I just haven't found any planes that I think are complex enough for my enjoyment.
Still, it's silly to say that the Seattle 777 is worse than your challenger. They are not in the same class of complexity or anything. Compare the Seattle to the XPlane 777. In which case, I say they are about the same, the XP 777 is about 10% more advanced.

Which one? there is a payware 777 and one that comes base game.

Re: Xplane and MacOS; chatting in the hangar.
I actually don't think you've used FSX/P3D setup correctly.
I think XP and FSX/P3D are the same good when they are set up correctly. It's the aircraft that make the difference for me.
I fly only really C172 and A320s, MD-80s, 727s, 717, 767s, MD-11s, 777s, A330s, and A340s. Between XP and FSX/P3D, I found these to be better in FSX/P3D.
The payware. Take the best of both sims.

I thougth Falcon was a MacOS user. I did not know that FSX or P3D ran on MacOS.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Honestly I don't give a fuck what others think.
Also, you have Mac, so the whole FSX/P3D vs XP argument is useless anyways.
I think both sims are good personally. I sometimes am impressed by aircraft, like recently the BBS A320. And I voice it. If you don't like it, don't listen. That is why there are many different channels.
I'm not going to post here again, unless absolutely necessary, cause I hate flame wars.
Israel, they don't. Which is why I have no idea why he is arguing with me about it.

Re: Xplane and MacOS; chatting in the hangar.
he isn't
he is just telling you that since he cannot run either software, he cannot consider them for his personal comparisons
I'm in linux. Same here.
I could only use Xplane as alternative... But I'm not paying for FlightSimulation when I can use FlightGear all for free

Btw, i heard that there are even people that use the sim as a car and motorcycle simulator
Kind regards, Vincent
Darn us clever sillies for making a motorcycle and car simulator out of a flight simulator..
What were we thinking? Pretty soon dogs and cats wil be living under the same roof, then wham! World in Chaos.
