Ministro Pistarini International Airport (SAEZ)

Postby Catalanoic » Thu Oct 06, 2016 4:47 pm

Hi! A friend and me want to develop airports and aerodromes in Argentina, we agreed that the default SAEZ layout, the main airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is too old and i noted that a new one is availible in the Gateway. Maybe someone here can regenerate it for FG like some other airports in FGMembers Github scenery directories. I can rework the existing SAEZ models, populate Buenos Aires with beautiful buildings and structures and my friend is working on SAEZ but in airports from the whole country too adding beautiful models and updating and creating new groundnets. Hopefully we'll do a nice proposal candidate as default airport for a next FG version.

Thanks,
Catalanoic

I am not interested in works for "Flightgear Releases" proposals... so that kills this for me.

#KEEPKSFO

In addition, If I recall correctly, terrasync just had a massive update of models on this airport.

This isn't for a FG release proposal as main objective (but it would be OK if we become more attention), i'm just helping someone that lives there develop his country. If you can't contribute on it (pity!) its your choice, you are currently supporting other places and events, i can understand it, but we live on the same planet . I'll learn how to generate it someday but not now (next year starting with the spanish aerodromes), maybe someone will do SAEZ for me before.
"terrasync just had a massive update of models on this airport." Not all, SAEZ is big, and there're some hand-made buildings, take a look at.

Tell me, which airports are currently under developing work? Few. By more than one interested person? Few.

That looks nice indeed. Since this is not for a FG Release (#KEEPKSFO) airport then I'll build the xplane layout and put it in terraGIT and a FGMEMBERS-SCENERY repository where you guys can add these models for a scenery stand-alone package.
