You read too fast SHM. A quiet place of course means that i had checked there is no-one there, also no controllers. I did not spawn in his area, but he jumped me and immediately started demanding and shouting.
Edit:
And be sure that i chose an location far away from the nearest controlled area, with many uncontrolled areas in between.
Kind regards, Vincent

Haven't had such an experience. I have flown on the VATSIM network for a long time now. I know you can report any controller to the supervisor with the .wallop command and they will look into it.
If you feel like giving VATSIM a second try, give me a message and I will help you
As I know that you know the ATC phraseologies give this event a try. I can send you all the STARs/SIDs route manager files and the updated navaid data.

If you feel like testing go to a parking place in an airport that is controlled, and check if you can hear/recieve text from ATC. Don't move an inch and you should be fine.
Then start with a radio check and take it from there
P.S. A centre controls many airports in an area, keep that in mind.

Oh, you mean report him to that supervisor he called in to throw me off? Nah, not a good idea. I have now long forgotten how to get flightgear on VATSIM, and as you may understand, i am not much interested to spend time on it anymore. Thanks for the nice offer to help anyway
But i wish you and others sincerely a lot of fun over there.
Kind regards, Vincent
