USA TOUR Event | SAT DECEMBER 17TH 18:00 - 21:00 UTC

Do the gear sit in the ground for you. What I see in blender and what is in JSBsim for NOSE BOGEY are way off. This is nothing you have done jwocky but I think this one needs some help. I will work on it tonight. Who knows how many things are off, things may work better when they are in the right place. Sure its flyable but it could be better. The F-5 has had too many hands in it and then in 2013 they just abandoned it seems. Fixing the FDM will not make it GPL so I'm not worried about that. I don't know where Dave's original version is.

Well, it did nothing of all of that for me ... so I am a bit surprised, but I had yet no time to look again.

Soooo, we have a re-balanced plane now on a plane that before did fine? And intentions to clone from something, I haven't even finished yet. And I reinstall today my stuff, so I can't just start and look what is going on. People, I am getting nervous. Can you all hold the feet still in this F-5E thing till I got a chance to look at it again. And OPFOR. The full plane maybe is CC because there are still a few parts from the original Culp and Prestes works in it, but a lot is also rewritten and new and that part is definitively by me and can be used under GPL. I only wish, I could finish my stuff first before you set up something on it.

I don't think anyone is setting up anything on it. I've only done what I said in my first post about it. stopped the canopy from going up and down, got rid of the landing lights that never turn off, moved the AERORP a hair and converted the stereo sound files to mono. This was before I knew the jwocky was even working on it too. We have plenty of things to keep us busy. I am only working on this plane for the USA Tour. This model is CC so we couldn't use our radar and missile systems if we wanted to and I have wanted to for a while but its not going to happen. It seems some other people obviously have added some GPL to it but thats on them. It is the model itself that is CC. This was a requirement for Dave to be able to use the model. He got a big lot of them but the deal was he had to put a CC license on them.

Okay, I panicked because the symptoms didn'T fit to the plane, then I realized, you used the launcher?

I moved mine out of my aircraft folder so it could only load the one I just did a git clone on into my dev folder. I can try again. FG terrain is pretty screwy these days. Yeah I've been there with the launcher. work on a model and have it in another folder and can't see your changes working... Learned that lesson after 45 of WTF with another model..

yeah, the launcher sucks. Okay, Phiö had the F-5E-J open and it was nice to him, so maybe you got the wrong set file?

I got the Swift R-5 closer to finished, a bit of fussy animation fixes and instrumentation models that matches the era.
I really love the shape of this aircraft, it's like a late 1950's Jaguar D-type, like the 24 hour LeMans winner.
