Postby IAHM-COL » Wed Dec 07, 2016 2:25 pm

Another air accident involving a plane meeting complex terrain. This time the plane explodes.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

crew, reported the failure of the left hand engine (PW127E). The crew shut the engine down and continued towards Islamabad descending, some time later declared Mayday

http://avherald.com/h?article=4a1c2ee4&opt=0

So they descended on one engine, which should not be a problem. Then something else popped up prompting a mayday. That could be anything: Fire in the engine, other engine failure, wrong engine shut down, etc... I guess the answer must come from the boxes.

Strength to the families.

Kind regards, Vincent

Did you notice, there is always this peak in accidents like that before Christmas? No idea why, but it feels that way.
