Courchevel? It smells like king air spirit!

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Yep. But on thinking about it later, I have to check how the flightgear scenery is at LFLJ :(

Thanks for having a look.

Damn it.

On searching the forums, it looks like the PAF team has a custom scenery for the airfield.

Can such a "wavy" runway even be designed in FG????

PAF produced a good model of Courcheval and the other French altiports. See their forum http://equipe-flightgear.forumactif.com/t443-altiports and the scenery section of their hangar http://equipe-flightgear.forumactif.com ... eam-hangar (in French) for details of how they did it.

You download it from http://clement.delhamaide.free.fr/PAF/Scenery.tar.gz.

It worked with the old scenery, but I have not tried in with the new.

It looked like a nice airfield for the tour and we could've flown from our previous destination Innsbruck.
But if this is the state of the runway, I'll change the place :(

We can come back at it at a later leg, when we have some time to address the RWY issue :P

Opposite to the USA Tour, this will be one where I always fall back on the same planes. Antonov, maybe Jumbolino, ... not sure what to do there.

Actually Courchevel looks quite good with the PAF CS:

...but L'alpe d'huez (LFHO) looks even better while being as challenging:
