Well, that is how it was explained to me by people who fly these things. If there is anything wrong, i must have misunderstood the explanation. Anyhow, there should be a way to see your throttle setting directly, and the spool-up comes later. If you want to implement something different that achieves the same, that is fine with me.
About systems i can not say much. I use auto start and manually put in some auto pilot settings. That is all i use. What i did notice is that FLCH and heading are automatically on, and that i did not have the opportunity to turn them off separately.
