If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

The name of the plane / title of this topic mystifies me. I can read it in 2 ways, and in both cases the word "professional" makes no sense to me.

1) IDG A33X Professional, Development
Is anybody using this plane for his profession?

2) IDG A33X, Professional Development
Is anybody developing for his profession? Is he paid for the work?

Kind regards, Vincent

Hello Vincent
We are calling it that because it will simulate the airplane to a professional level, wheras planes not labeled "professional" by me will not be simulated that far.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Ah, so it is reading 1) Suitable for professional use. Is that not a rather huge claim? Professional software has to go through a great deal of scrutiny. I doubt that your software has passed that.

What i think you want to say, is that you develop a plane to a high level of fidelity. So why not be truthfull about it, and call the plane: IDG A33X HiFi?

Kind regards, Vincent

That is not what I am saying. I am saying we are building to professional standards. I'm sorry if you do not like the name, but this is the choice, and the topic is not up for discussion, we have chosen this, and will not be changing unless there is a significant reason to do so, or my team decides to change it.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Do as you like. I just wanted to give you that there are people, like me, who can not take a product seriously if it makes unrealistic claims.

Kind regards, Vincent

That is a fairly ignorant and immature way of looking at things. It's just a name, does it really matter that much?

I'm not arguing further with you. I'm not even sure what "claim" you think I made. I've stated clearly the state of the realism of the aircraft, in the first post. We never stated it was 100% like the real aircraft.

In addition, there are probably more than 50 people now who have tried the Airbus, and have taken my simulation seriously.

Now, you already said you don't fly Airbus', so I don't see how the name of the aircraft matters to you, please take your need to point out everything you don't like somewhere else.

This is my final comment on the matter, and any further comments will fall on deaf ears.

Kind Regards,
Josh

How short is your memory? The claim that the aircrsft is professional of course.

But enjoy, do not listen to advice, and do as you like, as i already said.

Kind regards, Vincent

We at IDG appreciate user feedback. We however highly doubt you are our user.

Basically saying: mate, go fly this plane first, the proper way, that means following the green line (or magenta if you use the map). Please provide proof. After that you may come back and tell us this and that and bla bla bla. I will of course let you know if you did something wrong (ie: remember to use flx or toga, and keep the autothrotle until retard).

Please become our user first.

K thx
