Skinning PUI

Postby Octal450 » Sun Nov 19, 2017 3:26 am

While playing around with PUI dialogs, I found a way to skin the entire PUI interface plane side, no replacing file, no changing settings, all done from the -main file, and if another plane selected, it won't apply.

Here is an example of what I have implemented in my Airbus/MD-1X. I think it looks quite a bit nicer than the bland grey, and ugly yellow shade FG uses.

You can modify the color, and alpha of each element easily, and it will apply to the entire UI. It is fairly simple, and is done from Systems/it-gui.xml in my planes.

Comments welcome!

Kind Regards,
Josh

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?
