- SL20

From Zeppelin:
- L30 aka LZ62

  • Diameter (max.): 23.9 m (78 ft 4 in)
  • Gas volume: 55,000 m3 (1,949,600 sq ft)
  • Max speed: 103 km/h (28,7 m/s; 62.2 mph)
  • Range: 7,400 km (4600 miles)
  • Max altitude: 3,900 m (12,500 ft)
  • Payload: 27,721 kg (61,600 lb)
  • Engines: 6 x Maybach HSLu of 240 hp each. Total: 1440 hp

The first one is a copy of the Nordstern with a new 3D Model, the others have adjusted FDMs and
of course a new 3D Model.

Major additions to the original Nordstern airship:
  • Automatic mixture adjustment.
  • Autopilot settings available with the standard Dialog.
  • full multiplayer.
  • new ballast system.
  • all ships operate within their historical limits.
  • Effects for ballast release and exhaust.

Greetings and Happy New Year.

If we gave everybody in the World free software today, but we failed to teach them about the four freedoms, five years from now, would they still have it?

Ah, This was timely. I'd like permission to arm the turrets with Parabellums if possible?

Nice interiors also.

We'll be using these on the London raid event.

Of course you have permission to do any modification as you like, it's GPL, so you are free. Only thing i want is that you might give me your changes, so i can integrate them into the official versions.

BTW, i'm very interested in your L11.

Yes certainly. Forewarned it's pretty coarse polygon wise, both exterior and interior. And needs to have the instruments and their supports and cases made. I'll post up a link later this week.

Thanks for that. It doesn't matter that the model is coarse, as i'm mainly interested in that cool pushback truck and its implementation.

This is going to be interesting, as ArgonV and company would like to keep the artwork in this file non-commercial, as would I. You're welcome to use the programming for the tow, not sure about how it would be received if the FS-WWI art was GPL'd.

Here's Ander's old Hindenburg LZ-139 that I've tinkered with.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/v5o8j6vssa6pmsm/LZ-129.zip

I don't even think he's got it anymore in his hangar .

And here's your L30 with some small animation fixes.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/vearweqp66ii0ys/L30.zip

The exhaust effect was killing my frame rates severely in external view, so I patched in an alternate effect you may or may not like. I want to implement a ballast trimming section to your Nasal for the L30. I'm not sure if the WWI era Zepps actually had ballast trimming schemes though. Also note that you can implement as many instances of the turret as you've got unused viewing slots, in the 'turrets' Nasal. There will need to be extra tracer and hit submodels and you may have to do some sort of selection scheme for the turret view's submodels.

Many thanks for the files and your fixes. Will include your fixes to the L30 as soon as possible in the official release.

And don't worry about the artwork of the L11, i will respect the copyright of ArgonV and company and will find a GPL
replacement for the Truck.

Have just updated all 3 Zepps with your fixes Lester, that really looks much better.
Many thanks for that.

Franz, can I make a request if it isn't too much trouble. Could you find some time to port your airship AP function to the L-11?
