@Bomber
The JSbsim launches

However

1. I get these errors in the log -- print several time

Code: Select all

Is this concern to you?

2. The jsbsim-set.xml could have a better name, like UH-1-jsbsim-set.xml, or something of that sort, if you dont mind?

@Bomber

Except this output alerts, the JSBsim UH-1 is the most maneuverable Helicopter I've ever managed in FG

Awesome work!

My joystick was not responding so I had to fly it by mouse. Any ideas?

I may have disabled the joystick.....will have a look.

I too fly using a mouse and throttle, so not aware of the joystick issue.

Hi Bomber
I renamed the set file then

https://github.com/FGMEMBERS-NONGPL/UH- ... 62fea64bf2

Also,
here is a log of my test flight.

A very gentle soul, this Huey is. (even kinder than the scorpio)
Thanks a lot.
Your FDMs, as always, are top-notch

Best,

If you press the s key and shutdown the engne, it does a nice autorotation to the ground.

Also if you go sit in the slidedoor position the helicopter will remain on a steady course and the mouse will allow you to adjust the alt....
You can also.open the door.

Cycle through the views till you're behind the pilot.
