I like the idea of being a door gunner looking down over the rice fields of Vietnam

No different to the Scorpion..... Does the joystick work on the Scorpion ?

A better image.... it won't win the SOTM

Hi Bomber
I've just tried the Scorpion
No Joy. No Joystick on either it or the Huey :|

When I tested the AH-1 Scorpion before, I did all mouse work. Never detected this issue.

ok that gives me something to work with...

I had to alter the throttle to act as a collective in the .set file and maybe doing this removes any setting derived from the joystick.xml file...

We'll have to experiment and see what works best

IAHM-COL,

Do you have a custom joystick definition file set up, or do you just go with the flow ?

at present in the -set.xml file I do this...

Code: Select all

    <input include="keyboard-T4T.xml">
      <joysticks>
         <js>
            <axis n="2">
               <desc>Throttle</desc>
               <binding>
                  <command>property-scale</command>
                  <property>fdm/jsbsim/fcs/collective-cmd-norm</property>
               </binding>
            </axis>
         </js>
      </joysticks>
   </input>

I'm struggling to find a working alternative
