Encouraging fixing the basics

Postby Lydiot » Fri Feb 19, 2016 9:04 pm

Just spilling my thoughts out in binary form here...

I think it would be better if we encouraged developers to finish off their models rather than do new versions of them but with the same "flaws" or missing features. To my knowledge the 747 for example is still suffering from not having functioning spoilers. So whenever I'm trying to land the 747-400 and the approach is a bit high/fast, spoilers aren't there to help at all. Neither on touchdown. So rather than ask for yet another piece of eye-candy, a shorter version, or a longer version, why not encourage models that at least get all the basics right?
