I would. That's one of the feature of JAFVA.
Other airlines will not notice that because they add hours automagically

I don't think we have pilots wanting to sit on the tarmac rather than fly. :mrgreen: The problem may be just the opposite - pilots wanting to get in the air without even taxiing (again, probably not in JAFVA). ;)

So when i first downloaded FlightGear and started using it I'd always notice plane/pilots just sitting on a runway in the mp map for hours, so they were accruing flight time?

How frigging lame.

I figured they were having a hard time getting things fired up in the big jets.

It depends. I certainly detected some airline-based flights that stood on aprons for hours on end, and completed, as an example, KLAX-KPHX in a new record of 20+ hours.

I never considered such rankings as "fair" enough for me to attempt joining those long-established airlines.
