Come on VATSIM, you'll love it

I take this here as to not getting too much off topic over there. What i am about to say is not to criticize things other people like, but to share my experience with VATSIM, which is not very good.

A long time ago i managed to get flightgear working on VATSIM. But there is no chance to check out if it is working properly. I went to an empty place on earth to do some checks, without hindering others. Then suddenly a control freak jumped me, shouting: I control you!!! Where is your flight plan?!!!! Where is this, where is that?!!!! ANSWER ME!!!! Obviously the audio was not in order yet, so i tried to answer over text. Which did not seem to work properly either, or he just did not read it. A minute later he had called his daddy to throw me off the server.

See, no chance to test, no chance i will be flying there. No problem, because i actually do not feel much for being forced into flight plans all the time and become a child of the magenta.

Well there is my reason not to go there and enjoy the freedom of flightgear MP much more.

What happens in FG in jomo's place if you start on the runway or fly without his control? Same thing except that he cannot kick you off the server.

VATSIM is a place where every troll is kicked out of the server thereby maintaining quality ATC service. (not calling you a troll)

On the other hand, check out VATSPY or VATTISTIC to see which all ATCs are online. Then spawn at a place for testing.
